Planetarium shows, roller coasters, miniature golf, museum exploration and more. It’s spring break in Arlington, baby, and we’ll keep your party going all week long with these smile-inducting and easy-to-plan activities:

Six Flags Over Texas

No doubt about it, this year’s spring break won’t be complete with a stop at Six Flags Over Texas (AKA Big Fun Headquarters for the Dallas-Fort Worth region). Catch the Gotham City’s craziest villains, CATWOMAN Whip, RIDDLER Revenge, and MR. FREEZE Reverse Blast plus all the tried and true faves like New Texas Giant and Texas SkyScreamer. Don’t forget the ultimate sweet treat too: the famous Pink Thing!

Alley Cats

If you’re in the mood for classic family and date night fun, Alley Cats has it all under one roof in the form of bowling, arcade games, rock climbing, laser tag and Putt-Putt Golf—and when you’re ready for a break, there’s a full-service restaurant ready to serve the whole family (and a full-service bar for Mom and Dad). There’s no rush to get it all done, either, since Alley Cats is open late every night of the week!

Museum Madness

Learning and fun come together at Arlington’s museums, many of which offer free or low-cost admission: The Historic Fielder House, the Living Science Center, the Arlington Museum of Art, and the International Bowling Museum and Hall of Fame.

ICE At The Parks

Public skating sessions are held daily at ICE At The Parks—and no worries if you don’t skate enough to keep the blades handy, because in addition to public skate, parties and private lessons, ICE does skate rentals, too. Bonus: After you’ve rested up from spinning blades of glory and signing a few autographs, you can catch a blockbuster movie or shop and dine at more than 100 retailers and restaurants inside of the Parks Mall.

K-1 Speed

Put your spring break on adrenaline at this high-performance slick race track, which offers plenty of opportunities for the novice and experienced racer alike. Trust us, you’re gonna have a blast at K-1—especially if you’ve got a need for speed and a few intra-family bets to settle. Vrooooom!

Ripley’s Believe It Or Not

It’s DFW’s top destination for the weird, bizarre, and fascinating—not to mention the only place you can take a selfie with a wax Taylor Swift. Current Ripley’s attractions include Louis Tussaud’s Palace of Wax, the Odditorium, the Enchanted Mirror Maze and the Moving Theater. Prepare to get your freak on!

Arlington Skatium

Arlington Skatium blends the best of old-school skating rinks with current technology for a memorable afternoon or evening that that’s perfect for groups of friends or the whole family. Pizza and soda are plentiful to fuel those all-important breaks, and skate rentals are available if you don’t keep a pair of your own.

Flight Deck Trampoline Park

If your out-of-school plans are up in the air, soar over to Flight Deck Trampoline Park. Take flight on the massive indoor court of connected trampolines for an unforgettable adventure. Duck and dive on dodgeball courts or just coast at the FDTP Academy, our safe zone for junior flyers.

The Planetarium at UT-Arlington

Not only is this one of the most affordable destinations in Arlington, it’s also one of the coolest. Current UTA Planetarium spring showings include “Phantom Of The Universe,” “Pink Floyd,” “Astronaut,” “Spacepark 360,” and “Secrets of the Cardboard Rocket.”

Dave & Busters

D&B offers the Eat & Play combo every day–a steal of a deal starting at $17.99, which includes an entrée and a game card; with Two For Tuesdays, get $2-3 tacos and $2 Corona and Wednesday is half-price game day, where you can win D&B-branded boxers among other awesome and eclectic prizes.

Studio Movie Grill

There’s a brand new Studio Movie Grill in Lincoln Square! Catch one of today’s most popular blockbusters while you eat, drink and be cozy –the seats are incredible!
